For over 30 years, our Kids’ Quilts program has made quilts for children in need. Colorful fabric for quilt tops, flannel for backs, and batting are donated and/or purchased to create these quilts, providing a “hug” for each child who receives one.
Quilts are donated to local organizations who deliver services to younger children, including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Delaware County Pregnancy Center, the Domestic Abuse Safe House, Every Child Counts, Gemma (formerly the Villages), Nemours A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children, and Pathways for Families. Quilts are also donated for fundraisers benefitting children’s programs and are available for our members to donate to a community in need.
